The base station cannot be operated without a fresh water connection as it relies on the automatic refilling and emptying of water. This requires a connection to the water pipe to fill the water tank and dispose of the dirty water.

You can freely choose cleaning agents for the Dreame X50 Master as long as they are mild and do not contain any aggressive chemicals. It is recommended to use mild detergents or all-purpose cleaners without solvents or alcohol to protect the robot's technology. Specialised cleaners from manufacturers are often expensive, but they ensure that the warranty remains unaffected.

The X50 Master base station does not have a UV lamp for the dust container. However, it offers automatic cleaning of the wiping pads with hot water and automatic emptying of the dust container.
