The device does not have integrated wifi and is not smart home compatible. Control is via infrared remote control and there is no native support for smart home integration or wifi control on the model. An optional wifi module insert is not officially documented or planned.

The cooling capacity depends on the size of the room and also on how well it succeeds in compensating for the inflow of hot outside air through the cooling. The unit has a medium energy efficiency, it has an A rating and consumes 1 KW of electricity per hour. If higher cooling capacity is important, a unit with 12000 BTU should be looked at. The power consumption may be slightly higher, but so is the cooling capacity.
