We tried it for the first time, a slight difference in flavour at the beginning. As we never filter the amount of water, the approx. 4 weeks have remained the same for us. So price performance is certainly good, but the two products are not "equal" as less water has to be calculated per filter. We will buy these GenericFilters again. LG

No, the quality is probably not quite the same: the Generic filter has a lower stated filter capacity (100 litres vs. 150 litres for Brita) and probably less high-quality filter media.
