Unfortunately, the world's best "ice-cream maker" is a bit too long to fit into a normal small ice-cream compartment :-( Unfortunately, it only fits crosswise - a pity. Nevertheless, we use it because no water spills (when putting it in the freezer), and the ice cubes come out very easily. Click inwards once to release the ice cube and click outwards a second time to lift the ice cube and take it out. Very cool idea!
