Kärcher FC5 Premium
Kärcher FC5 Premium
The machine is only suitable for smooth surfaces in the household. Never use the microfibre roller on oiled wooden floors. If it has a lot of joints, I would take the larger BR 30/4 C suction scrubbing machine with high-low roller. Unlike the BR 30/4 C, the FC5 is a toy.
I would not necessarily recommend the machine for either raw or oiled floors. Reasons: too much effort, and too much removal of opal. I would clean with a damp mop, e.g. Leifheit: faster and gentler.
Hello Sfalf, My FC5 Premium has a single brass nozzle. This is inserted into an opening there when the roller cover is fitted. From there, the washing solution is directed to the front sides of the rollers via two corresponding channels inside the cover. The two suction openings are then located on the rear side of the rollers.
I only use the appliance on porcelain stoneware tiles. If "Grip" stands for texture or nubs, I doubt whether the suction power is sufficient.
I have about 90 square metres spread over 2 floors and need about 1 hour.
This only applies to the plug, i.e. it has a "Schuko plug" which is available in Germany! For Switzerland or other countries, simply buy an adapter!
There must be an adapter, yes :)
Depending on how deep and dirty the joints are. If necessary, simply go over them several times and soften encrusted stains with a little water beforehand. The FC5 then absorbs the water without any problems. I have textured stone floors with grout joints in several rooms and am very satisfied.
Both versions are absolutely identical. They differ only in the colour and the plugs. The FC5 has no bags. Only a mini collecting container for the used water. Better said: the container is large, but can only be filled with approx. 15% of its volume. Be sure to read the operating instructions. Protects the motor. Unfortunately, the original Kärcher packaging is too weak. My Kärcher was delivered with a crack in the casing. Unfortunately, I didn't want to wait another week for the part and replaced the plug with a CH type, plugged it together and used it the first time before I noticed that the extension wasn't holding properly because of the transport damage. My tip if you don't care about the colour: order the CH version and either cleaning additive or replacement rollers extra. Then hopefully Galaxus will take the trouble to pack the part properly and it will arrive undamaged. Otherwise, it's a real pleasure.
No, because carpets should not be vacuumed wet. It is only suitable for hard floors.
Hi, Yes, the two microfiber rolls are included in the price!
It is white - and had the wrong plug.... (but could be replaced by my husband).
Good day I simply changed the plug.
The colour of the device and only one extra set of rollers. Please note that the EU version has a German plug and an adapter is required.
None, except that you can also have it in white.
I bought the EU version and it has an EU plug on the cable, I assume the CH version has a CH plug on the cable.
