I always let the cheese dry in. Afterwards, it is very easy to remove and I only have to clean the pot briefly by hand with water. I would not put it in the dishwasher.
You can place the stand in the caquelon, but the holding arms stick out a bit at the top, so the bonnet doesn't fit perfectly on it.

Hello, in principle you can clean a cast iron caquelon in the dishwasher. Just remember that cast iron starts to rust when the oil layer is removed by the dishwasher. Therefore, you should "grease" the caquelon again after the dishwasher cycle so that it does not start to rust. With the forks, it depends on whether they are hollow in the handle and whether water can penetrate. I would wash both by hand, it's quick and you can enjoy them for longer.
