With the basket, the potatoes are steamed. Without the basket, you can cook them but they are boiled potatoes. There are separate steamer baskets for sale.

We will of course forward this to our responsible department so that the description can be corrected promptly. The Tefal Secure Trendy pressure cooker is not suitable for microwaves and is also not intended for the freezer.
According to our information, this product is manufactured in France, as indicated in the product images.

The basket has plenty of space for the steam to come around the food properly. This is normal👌

Hi, I tried the basket with and without the tripod, and both worked ;-)
By the way, risotto works really well in just 4 minutes (without the basket).
