Rather simple appliance without any intelligence such as a hygrostat.
According to the manual, there is an automatic defrost function, but the appliance still freezes in a colder cellar room, which makes me doubt its existence or quality. After one day of continuous operation at 8°C, the appliance was completely frozen, and the little water collected in a puddle under the appliance instead of draining into the collection container or via a hose.
The build quality is mediocre, the manual is a miserably long, poorly to incomprehensibly translated collection of warnings with a few technical data and instructions (German and English are equally incomprehensible) and graphics in pixelated resolution.
The device operates with a compressor and therefore has decent performance, no comparison to devices with a Peltier element.
