It's really very good - no complaints at all. In reality, we just use the turbo setting and it takes 20 minutes. At capacity it can feed 3 people generously. It's pretty easy to clean, and we forgive its rather ostentatious look as it makes us good rice. One request: play a cute tune when the rice is ready, rather than just a beep! (For this frivolous reason, we would get a Zojirushi if it were available in Switzerland.)
For years, I didn't know how to cook my rice. But then Chuckoo came along. Chuckoo's sensitive way of cooking rice amazes me every time. An absolute enrichment for my household.

A small rice cooker like this is a must for anyone who makes rice 3+ times a week, even if it is quite expensive at 116CHF. Saves energy and makes everything yourself. A portion of rice weighs exactly 150g and costs around 0.6CHF + electricity and if the cooker is used a lot and lasts 2 years then the portion price of 1CHF is still economical.
The rice needs 35 minutes for one portion with the sticky program,
The pot weighs 396g and therefore has an acceptable mass so that the heat can be distributed evenly.
Alternatively, I would have used the YumAsia Panda with ceramic coating and stainless steel lid, but this is not available here.
The pictures show a nice comparison with my 6-portion cooker, which is of course in a different class with induction and pressure. But it still looks good for its 10 years and if the built-in battery didn't cause the display to go out after five years and there was a replacement pot, it would run like the first day. Just Korean quality.
However, if you are single or only like rice on your own, it is too big, as the minimum quantity is more like 2 portions, hence my choice of this less comfortable but with a better portion size. The large one has handles - and I really miss them so that I can simply empty all the rice onto the plate and prevent the pot from spinning.

Small yet efficient rice cooker that meets the basic needs of fast rice & porridge cooking for 3-person volume.

I cooked mixed rice black, red, brown and white together and it was absolutely perfect. Jasmine, basmati and also sushi rice also came out absolutely perfect.
Rice pudding overnight has also worked wonderfully.
Once I had too little liquid and it has simply stopped earlier than expected and was not burnt
Performs incredibly well. I'm curious about the life but claim even if it lasts only 1 year already worth the price.
Now often use the timer function and prepare the rice tomorrow before work and then let him cook directly for lunch or dinner itself.
Menu you have to read once how it works but then it makes absolutely sin.

I was tired of having to make a minimum of two cups of rice with the 'basic' Tefal Classic 2. This Cuckoo, which is made in South Korea (bought in June 2020), allows cooking just 1/2 a cup at a time, which is perfect. The programming options are plentiful without being like a NASA device. The inner bowl is thicker and heavier than what I've had in European-designed rice cookers, which means that the heat is more evenly distributed. I was surprised that it cooks slower (around 30 minutes instead of 15 minutes with the Tefal), but the resulting rice is much better. The supplied manual (Korean and English only) contains some odd phrasing and a number of minor translation oddities, but is detailed and useful.
