Super appliance that has many strengths and appears to be of high quality.
It processes all types of dough well and can be used daily.
It shows weaknesses after long and frequent use and with engine noise.
Unfortunately, as is almost always the case nowadays, it is only built for occasional use.

in use for 8 months: perfect for soups, rice pudding, pizza dough, bread dough and much much more

Great device! Very functional
The first one I received did not cook. I was able to return and replace it within a few days. Thank you for the responsiveness.

I studied the KitchenAid for a long time, but then decided on the Kenwood, despite the proud price. The decisive factor was the machine's versatility. In addition to normal dough, you can also boil and fry (induction hob) - unlike the KitchenAid. The risotto is world class.... The attachments (kneading picks, whisk, etc.) are also made of thick metal (no plastic) and can therefore be put in the dishwasher very easily. The housing is made of fine aluminium and the motor "floors" any kind of dough! Top appliance!

In the event of a defect, Kenwood refuses to supply spare parts to private individuals!
had to get it in the EU! was costly, but cheap!
A slightly heavy load in the bowl causes the motor to slow down.
This is undoubtedly the downside of this very nice product, stainless version.

Doesn't switch on. Cold joint or dry capacitor.
All functions for stirring, oscillating, etc. are top.
The cooking function is much less sophisticated. Really annoying and incomprehensible is the fact that the rotation speed cannot be set independently of the interval time in interval stirring. You risk spilling over the food even well below the maximum capacity.
A risotto cooked in the machine or in the conventional pan does not lead to the same result. With the machine and the much more frequent stirring, the individual grain of rice is much smaller later on the plate. Not exactly mush but in a preliminary stage there.

Kneads bread dough powerfully and very well. Rather unsuitable for small quantities, e.g. sponge dough.

The name says it all.
Stable, very high quality, robust, simply WOW

The investment is worth it. I've had the machine for 1.5 years now and I'm still very satisfied. The cooking function is ingenious.
Pro

You can do almost anything with it, but for some pasta preparations you always have to finish by kneading by hand

The unit was delivered, unpacked, set up and put into operation. The agitator just wouldn't start. After some trial and error, I found that the appliance only works when the arm is pressed with physical force. When the arm is released, the unit stops and the message "Arm up" is displayed. Therefore, I assume that Kenwood did not subject this unit to an output check, otherwise this problem would have been noticed there. See video:

Even though Galaxus is not directly responsible for this, it is annoying for me that I had to pack the device neatly again, take it to the post office and now have to wait approx. 3 weeks until Kenwood has notified me. I would have expected Galaxus to send me a new appliance quickly and without complications, and Galaxus to deal with the supplier Kenwood about the rest of the defective appliance. The appliance was ordered at the end of November, the appliance arrived at Galaxus on 13 December and now, according to Galaxus, it will take another 2-3 weeks until it is clear how to proceed.

appears very solid and high-quality and is powerful.
The quality of the bread dough has improved considerably compared to the "old" Major. A workhorse in a class of its own! My 3rd Kenwood has been in daily use for 20 years. All 3 work perfectly and I have never had a repair. Sometimes I process 5 kg of meat into sausages without a break. First through the mincer, then kneading with the spices and further through the sausage attachment.
I also own an Ankarsrum, so I have direct comparison possibilities.
I can only say I love it and it is worth every franc!

Is almost in daily use for smoothies. :) But also often in use for various doughs, jam, etc. Super accessories, super machine, super results. The quality is right (so far). The range of functions is top, would buy it again!
