If the machine would run without defects, I would be very happy with it.
Unfortunately, I had already sent it in 3 times. I have not had with any other product.
The service was not very good!
I would recommend the machine to people I do not like.

The whole thing did not start very positively. A defective device arrived at my home twice. Galaxus was very reliable here and took care of the fastest possible exchange or subsequent delivery. About 2 months before the end of the warranty, the machine was then defective and I had to send it directly to Melitta, where it was then repaired. About 3-4 months later, so 1-2 months after the warranty expired, the machine was again defective (only a broth came out). I then contacted Melitta directly and hoped for their goodwill after all the inconvenience - unfortunately in vain.

Many problems,
Beans feed makes problems after a short time, the coffee grounds gum up the whole machine.... you have to remove the brewing unit at least once a week and clean everything filigree.
Big problem: 50% of the water goes into the tank under the machine! So the water tank is too small! Melitta was unable to solve the water loss problem. Despite a Galaxus exchange (thanks Galaxus), the new machine has the same problem (too much water loss). But it still makes a very good coffee

The coffee was tiptop and the operation of the machine self-explanatory. Unfortunately, that was it.
The machine had to be sent in for repair 3 times(!) during the two-year guarantee period. Each time, the repair took between 2 and 4 weeks and cost almost CHF 100.
Just after the warranty expired, the 4th repair was due. Cost: over CHF 300.
Especially as other customers have been in the same vein, there must be something wrong with the quality of the machine.
Conclusion: Never again Melitta!
