Absolutely not to be used
This is the second Melitta appliance that broke down after the warranty expired. I strongly advise against this brand because of the programmed obsolescence of their products.

Good machine, good coffee.
This is my 2nd machine from this brand and, as luck would have it, it broke down 2 or 3 weeks after the end of the warranty. I will never use this brand again, even if the machine was OK for 2 years.
