On the downside, the first one stopped working after just over 2 years.
A repair was refused by Philips, as defective devices are only exchanged for a new one within the warranty period.Pro

I had bought two kettles of this model...
I had bought two kettles of this model, one for the house and one for the office. A year and a half later the thermostat on both kettles failed within a few weeks of each other. The first kettle would not stop heating (fire warning) and the second would not heat above 60° before deciding not to heat at all.)
I would therefore avoid ordering such a model because it is likely to contain poor quality electronics.Contra

Great price-performance ratio thanks to the campaign. Too bad German plug (large), adapter necessary. Picture with a view of the inside is not correct, as filters have been removed from the picture. A bit much plastic & not as small as the picture makes it seem.

Can't really find anything negative. Great design and functions. Cable rewind function, various temperatures and keep warm function. Fast heating and water filter to retain limescale. Design also matches our toaster from the same line. Would buy it again.
