In short: I am thrilled! :-D
I have NEVER used a sewing machine in my life.
In contrast, I have sewn a lot of things by hand - mainly leather items or "patches" on bags and the like.
As I currently have to shorten two pairs of trousers and a shirt, I thought it was time for a new "hobby" or to acquire a new craft skill.
And with the daily price of CHF 108 for this machine, it seemed like a sensible investment.
And I'm so glad I made this decision!
I had watched one or two YouTube videos beforehand: How to wind a "bobbin thread" (what the heck is a "bobbin thread"?!) and how to thread a top thread (the opposite of the bobbin thread, I assumed). It looked very simple, but that's what DIY YouTubers usually do.
So when the machine arrived, I immediately unpacked it, marvelled at all the accessories and then got started with the help of the 36-page, thin instruction manual with pictures in the style of a LEGO set for 4-year-olds.
What can I say? It takes just 20 minutes (with these instructions only, without videos) and I got started on a test piece. Really easy, why haven't I been doing this for a long time?
So I didn't hesitate for long and quickly shortened a (lumberjack) shirt that was far too long with a few cuts and added a hem (I think it's called a hem) in about 15 minutes. The hammer!
It gave me the same good feeling as when I turn something, install a new socket or build a new shelter in the forest.
I can therefore recommend this machine without reservation. It's the perfect entry-level machine that can do everything I need it to do.
And with all the YT videos, you can learn new "skills" quickly and easily.

The Nähmasxhiene is great for hobby sewers. You can sew and design so many things. Is simply super. Where there is still a need for action is that with the zigzag stitches, the thread at the bottom of the bobbin always gets totally tangled. Then you can take the machine to half from each other, which is a bit annoying.
But otherwise I am super satisfied and convinced!

Super sewing machine, totally suitable for beginners. So the "sewing" makes fun :)

I don't need a supercomputer, just a sewing machine with the common stitches. I bought this model after working with it at someone else's house and being very pleased.
