Unold Backmeister Onyx
Unold Backmeister Onyx
We read a lot of test reports on bread makers, and it quickly became clear that we didn't want to put a loud howling monster in our kitchen - the things are apparently really loud when kneading (and all BAs without an additional compartment for nuts, grains, etc. make beeping sounds when you add the ingredients).
After a few test reports, Panasonic and Unold emerged as the rather quiet bread makers. The price was the deciding factor ;)
This is our first BA and this morning we already had the second fresh loaf of bread - and we haven't had the appliance in the kitchen for a week yet. Very easy to use: Put the mixture and water in the pot, latch it into the Unold, close the lid, select the programme and start - the appliance does the rest :) I confess, so far we have only used ready-made baking mixtures - but they turn out really well!
As this is our first BA, we can't compare the volume with other appliances - but we don't find it loud or even annoying. If then the beeps ;)
We will test the timer function extensively and try out our own recipes and make additions here if necessary.
All in all, a great appliance!
Pro
Contra
+ Is easy to use, the bread succeeds.
+ However, I need twice the portion of dry yeast as indicated.
+Very quiet appliance and easy to clean.
+ Delivery went really well.
- The display is a little small.
The baking machine is handy, relatively quiet and works perfectly so far; the bread (only wholemeal has been tried so far) succeeds and tastes good! Important to know (friends of mine have overlooked this): The maximum baking quantity is rather low compared to other automatic bakers, so it is only suitable for smaller households.
does what it's supposed to. fits like this.
optimal for a small household.
I've only used the ready-mix/water twice, but it worked perfectly. put in the flour, put in the water, press the button, wait and voilà!
I chose this BBA over others because it is suitable for gluten-free bread. With the right flour and cold water, the bread does not rise too much and you can bake a gluten-free bread that tastes good.
Pro
Tiptop! Beautiful design, easy to use, for 500 g more (not more), quiet and small design.
