High user comfort is ensured by an LED display, pot detection, a 180-minute timer, and quiet operation thanks to optimized housing cooling. The frameless glass-ceramic cooking surface is designed without intermediate bridges, making it very easy to clean. The residual heat indicator and a separate key lock that protects against accidental operation also enhance safety.

Rommelsbacher shows a large double field with a wide temperature range. The workmanship falls slightly behind in the test field. Loud signal tones are only emitted when changing modes, and the operating noise is much more pleasant compared to the other test appliances.
With this model, you can adjust the temperature very precisely while cooking - there are 10 different cooking intensities available. Families in particular will certainly welcome the key lock, which can make use much safer. However, the speed of this model is not really impressive: you have to wait 5:55 minutes (TØ) before 1,000 millilitres of water boil.
The Rommelsbacher hob is very easy to clean thanks to its closed surface and achieves top marks for workmanship. Very good handling and good function scores also keep it in line with the top.
