RS pleated standard filter plates. RS pleated filter plates are high capacity renewable filters that provide filtration levels above basic or pre-filtration in HEVAC systems. This product consists of Kimberly Clark's patented Intrepid® filter media, which provides consistent filtration throughout the service life. These standard pleated filters are constructed by gluing a pleat pack of the filter media into an Aquakote® card frame. The Aquakote® card has superior tear strength when wet and excellent tear resistance when dry. In addition, it is made of a renewable material. The Kimberly Clark filter media has a graded density for uniform dirt pickup, which provides higher dust holding capacity and therefore longer service life. This filter media is water repellent and has consistent filtration performance, superior efficiency to particle size ratio and low pressure drop due to its special electrostatic charge, and it is made of continuous fibers that do not come loose.
