This classic fondue made of solid cast iron is not capable of maintaining the temperature of an oil fondue, so it is much more suitable for use with vegetable/meat/fish stock or cheese. However, the stability is impeccable thanks to the heavy weight. The hand part heats up considerably and should not be touched with the bare hand.
