Important usage note:
With ultrasonic technology, water is converted into mist. This process also transforms the calcium in the water into tiny particles, which can then settle as white residue on furniture. Therefore, the use of the descaling cartridge is recommended, which reduces the calcium content in the water. In the case of hard (14 - 21°dH) or very hard water (above 21°dH), the cartridge must be replaced frequently to prevent white residue. Eva should also not be operated with demineralized water from descaling systems that work on the principle of ion exchange, as the salt contained in the water can settle around the device as white dust. For this reason, a vaporizer is recommended for water with high calcium content as well as for demineralized water.
