The Dual Filter combines an H14 HEPA filter with an activated carbon filter. The HEPA H14 filter part removes pollutants such as fine dust, pet hair, pollen, viruses, and bacteria from the air. The activated carbon filter adsorbs gases like unpleasant odors, tobacco smoke, and volatile organic compounds. Compared to an H12 HEPA filter, the H14 HEPA filter has a higher filter density, allowing more particles to be filtered from the air with each air exchange. The Dual Filter needs to be replaced every 8 to 12 months.
