A pressure lid does not slip, as it fits precisely in the pot, with the rim facing down, securely sealing it. Cooks love it when they want to steam ingredients with little water, as it retains the steam in the pot. It is available as a visible cooking lid made of heat-resistant quality glass with a Cromargan® rim. A round knob is provided for lifting, and you won't need pot holders, as it maintains a comfortable temperature even while cooking. In the polished stainless steel version, the lid is made of one hundred percent Cromargan® and features a profiled handle that also does not get hot on the stove. All WMF lids are dishwasher safe.
