1. Alessi Moka
Alessi espresso machine Moka, large - Alessandro Mendini
The Moka also changes, from good to better. The rounded shapes that Mendini used for this espresso pot give it an original and innovative design. But to make the Moka great, it would not have been enough to simply make the shapes rounder, as many have already tried to do. No, a clear design signal was needed to replace the archetypal Moka. Mendini has found this signal in a design that lends curves to the familiar vertical taper, creating a strong profile with a high recognition value. The other traditional design details are retained by the Moka Alessi; only the technical and formal details have been improved. The material thickness and volume of the individual containers have been optimised and the proportions of the boiler and drip tray have been recalculated.

2. Alessi La Conica
This coffee machine, designed between 1980 and 1983, emerged from the further development of the "Tea & Coffee Piazza" operation, where prominent architects worked on a design for coffee and tea service. It was Rossi's first project for this large series. The espresso machine quickly became a bestseller for the then-young brand Officina Alessi, thanks to its distinctive shape, and became a symbol of 1980s design.

3. Alessi Pulcina Espressomaschine
Alessi Pulcina - Espresso maker 15 cl
The Pulcina espresso pot was born from the creative mind of architect Michele De Lucchi. Pulcina is the result of a long search: those involved wanted to find out how the shape of the espresso pot could be optimised to improve the organoleptic properties of espresso. Thanks to the special design of the inside of the pot, the Pulcina interrupts the flow of coffee at exactly the right moment. This avoids the volcanic phase - the final moment of extraction that leaves a burnt, bitter aftertaste. Only the best of the coffee reaches the cup, and its full-bodied, round flavour can be fully savoured. The spout is relatively pronounced. Its typical V-shape is reminiscent of a chick's beak (it. pulcino ). It is so precisely designed that it enables drip-free pouring. Pulcina is practical, functional and requires no specialised knowledge. The coffee is prepared in exactly the same way as in conventional espresso pots

4. Alessi Pulcina Espressokocher
Alessi Pulcina - Espresso maker black, 30 cl
Launched in 2015, the Pulcina espresso pot has won people over thanks to its impressive shape and excellent performance. The originality of the stepped shape is further emphasised in the black version by the colour of the light. The Pulcina coffee machine, designed by Michele De Lucchi, has a small but revolutionary innovation in the water tank, which further enriches the full-bodied coffee flavour. Dedicated to all those who do not want to give up the flavour and aroma of coffee from an espresso pot, but also want to experience this everyday ritual in a special way.
Not suitable for induction.

5. Alessi Espresso machine
The 9090 is the first espresso machine in the history of Alessi, as well as the first of countless Compasso d’Oro awards and the first Alessi project to be exhibited at MOMA in New York. It is the coffee machine that people love for its ability to be carried directly to the table to serve espresso. “I wanted to give this espresso machine a look that others do not have.” With these words, Richard Sapper described his idea behind the design of the 9090 espresso machine. It was meant to be not just a banal coffee machine, but a true steam machine, to quote the inventor once again. Made from 18/10 stainless steel, the 9090 is unique not only for its conical shape but also for several useful innovations, such as the larger base for better heat utilization, or the drip spout and cone closure that allows the coffee machine to be opened with a simple hand movement.
