I assume so, yes. I haven't unscrewed it 🙂 but it is descaled monthly as it's my 2nd Gaggia. Adapter is always included with digitec galaxus. LgM

PS. Here is my general assessment and some more information about the Gaggia:

"The classic for super espresso at a fair price in a chic design
Attention, delivery from abroad takes almost 2 weeks due to customs clearance...

I had already had a Gaggia Classic since 2018 and was actually very satisfied until it was completely closed and could no longer be descaled. My own fault plus high water hardness in ZH are not a good combination...

Kaffeemacher.ch have a nice video that shows what the Gaggia can do (with proper care, haha). It's worth watching.

Even 6 years later I still don't want to spend 2k and am therefore happy with the v2, in matt blue this time and with nice little improvements.

If you're also looking for excellent, fair coffee: https://www.onesto.ch - definitely try it, it's now also available in the Coop. My choice: Klippenspringer.

And my matching grinder is the Sage Smart Grinder (of which digitec sent me 2 for the price of 1 - maybe you'll be lucky...). ;-) I returned it straight away, of course. But digitec didn't seem to care. At least I now have a clear conscience. It grinds cleanly, quietly and reliably. My price tip and thumbs up here too.
