Yes, it's perfectly possible and practical to have decaffeinated beans in one container and caffeinated beans in the other, thanks to the Bean Switch system, which includes two removable bean containers. This makes it easy to change coffee types without having to empty or clean the bin each time. The two bins are sealed and identified by different coloured lids for ease of use. The system is designed to offer this flexibility without taking up too much space or having to be cleaned frequently each time the beans are changed.

It is not inconvenient as it does not need to be cleaned. When you change the container, the machine asks you whether you want to make a coffee with the beans still in the machine or whether it should put them in the compost. You do not have to clean the containers as the grinder is located in the machine.
