Can anyone tell me how to get my Sodapop Logan working again: after putting the bottle in, closing the door and pressing the button, there was a small explosion and water all over the buffet. Now - and this is why I need help and advice - the button is jammed and the door won't open! How do I unblock the door and the knob?

Helpful answer

When it's working properly, you need to apply pressure to the door so that it opens. If it's stuck, return it to the after-sales service.

In my opinion, it's the bottle that's in the wrong place or not filled correctly. This has happened to me too, and when I tried again, it worked without a hitch.

I asked Chat GPT for you, here is the answer (maybe it helps):

If your Sodapop device is stuck and the door won't open, you can try the following steps:

1. disconnect the appliance from the power supply

If your Sodapop is an electric model, unplug it first to prevent damage.

2. check if there is pressure in the system

If there is a CO₂ cartridge in the appliance, pressure may have built up. Try the following:

Press the bubble button a few times to release excess pressure.

Wait a few minutes if the valve is slow to depressurise.

3. shake the door carefully

Sometimes it helps to move the door slightly back and forth or tap gently against the housing to release a jammed mechanism.

4. turn the appliance upside down

If possible, carefully turn the appliance upside down and try to open the door from a different position.

5. search for foreign objects

Check whether a bottle or part of the cartridge has become jammed. If you see a blocked bottle, try to release it carefully.

6. if nothing helps: contact the manufacturer

If the door continues to jam, it could be a mechanical problem. In this case, Sodapop customer service can often help. Check the operating instructions or the manufacturer's website for support options.

If you give me more detailed information (model, situation), I can adapt the instructions further!
