No, you still need the old tap for "normal" water extraction. You need a second hole for this.

We placed it next to it, also for the reason that we also need hot water. But I think there are also Brita ones for hot and cold water. You'd have to have a look.

Hello.
You can try it out.
However, the Brita tap is smaller and the hole is also very small at 20mm.
(Getting a metal ring or a cover would be possible).
In addition, you would probably have to construct something to use hot and cold water. But I don't think this is possible as the Brita is not designed for 2 stages.
Otherwise contact Brita customer support.
We have installed the Brita next to the tap.
