Can previously frozen fruit (e.g. currants) also be processed in the Dörrex or is that not a good idea? Thank you:-)

"If you want to dry frozen fruit, you should defrost it first. You can also thaw the frozen fruit in the dehydrator, but then you have to make sure that the thawed water can run off or is collected.
Experience shows that this only works with shock-frozen berries and fruits (e.g. those from the shop), as the cell walls are (hardly) destroyed and not all the juice runs out when thawing.
