I've been using it for 3 years on a campingaz stove, and I've added an aluminium plate for the fondue pots to spread the heat. It works without a problem (style: Heidi Cheese Line Aluminium washer for stove )

Hello,
I use it on the gas cooker (also on the camping cooker) on the smallest burner. I make sure that the flame does not blow up on the outside.

I wouldn't use it on an open fire because the handle could get hot or melt.

We are using it on an electric hob.
