Thank you for your question. The Roomba e5 from this bundle can be operated with the app. So you can start and stop it on the go, you don't necessarily have to be at home. The Braava 390T from this bundle, on the other hand, is unfortunately not controllable via the app, you would have to operate it using the buttons on the robot.
