Question about Krups Double waffle iron
Do you have to heat it up once without any fat and then throw away the first waffles, as is often the case with other waffle irons? There is nothing about commissioning in the leaflet or on their website.

This is what the product manual says:
- Open the appliance.
- Pour a little oil on the plates before the first use. Wipe with a soft cloth.
- Place the dough tray (h) under the appliance.
The brand does not specify that the first waffles should be thrown away, but I recommend that you do so, as this is often preferable for a new appliance. Or clean the surface after heating the first time.
