Does anyone else have problems getting the robot into the WiFi? I feel like I've tried everything, all the Ecovacs troubleshooting, various Reddit posts with possible solutions, but nothing works. Support ticket is out, but maybe you are faster... ;) <-- Experienced user ;-P

SOLUTION FOUND, thanks to youtube.

Apparently there is a NIRGENDS described restriction regarding the password length of the WiFi!
New with 20 characters it worked right away.
Yes, there were special characters in it before, but new ones too, so it was probably just the length.

This odyssey only took about 6 hours of troubleshooting, but yay, success.

My current assumption is that the phone cannot connect to the Robi's WiFi "immediately"; you still have to "log in" after connecting, just like with a hotel WiFi. Presumably a precautionary measure because the Robi WiFi is unencrypted This "wait for login" then presumably causes a timeout in the app. No idea how to get round this.... Already tried 2 different smartphones, same problem, no connection to the Robi. The Robi reports "connected" via voice but the app terminates at 50%. Error codes 406 and 10000.

Thanks for the tips, but no, that's why I said "experienced user".... ;-)
I'm already much deeper into the problem and can't get any further.

The Wi-Fi must be visible. Otherwise, simply follow the requirements in the app. It worked for me without any problems.

Did you use a 2.4 GHz WLAN? It can't do 5 GHz, if I remember correctly.
