Does it work with Jura ENA-8? The size and mount look identical as Claris Smart (the gray one) which normally is advised but I am not sure if this one without "chip" will work as well.

It is the official Jura Claris Smart - filter cartridge. Therefore yes it works with the ENA 8. The filter extension, you are referring to, should be reused or can be bought separately - Jura item number 72231.
