Question about Krups Virtuoso
Does the device come with a DE Schuko plug and a gigantic adapter (Galaxus/Digitec should really stop doing that), or a normal plug that leaves the other two free in the usual three-way sockets?

It comes with the gigantic adapter.
With adapter. Just enough for two normal plugs. But there would be no room for another device with an adapter.
