We have had the machine for 2 years now and have never had to descale it. It is cleaned with clean water and dried with a soft cloth. The machine has no deposits and looks as good as new.

As far as I know, this is not necessary. I clean/dry the machine after each use. So far, this has always been enough and no limescale has built up.
