Hello, so three sensors are installed, wind direction, speed and temperature. The range is not very far, so you can't place it too far from the station. But I would still place it on the south side, because the measurement of the direct solar radiation is very interesting, i.e. how many degrees C° are not measured in the shade. While you place the other sensor (Thermo Hygro) on the north side to measure the effective outside temperature.
