It depends how fine you want it. I might suggest a spice mill instead if you want it powdery.

The chopper does not work for grinding linseed because the 2 blades can only cut through soft pieces such as cooked carrots and potatoes at speed and are too far away from the ground. Linseed for a smoothy therefore remains as seeds in the mixture. MFG Marco
