Yes it can, thanks to the laser LIDAR system. It creates a map on the first run, which can then be edited and, if necessary, the rooms can be divided up. Afterwards, you can either have it vacuum everything, or you can have it vacuum only one room, for example.

In general, all Roborock hoovers can do this, the ones from Xiaomi or Dreame as well, for best navigation they have this little tower on top where the constantly rotating laser measures the rooms. The robot also knows exactly where it is.
