I can confirm the answer from 'Clanghans'.
I would recommend placing the device so that it is always connected to the mains. The battery life is not very long and when the battery is charged, the device heats up and then displays a temperature that is too high (after that, of course, it is correct again).

The device has a USB-C connection. The cable is relatively long I estimate 1 to 1.2 metres.
