Hello, does it sound when it is on? (Is there a fan, ventilator or something ... ?) I'd like to buy one of these, but I'm a bit worried - I don't want a constant hum at the table when I'm eating. Or do you always switch it off again anyway?

There is no fan, operation is silent.

Makes no noise. Really good for a cosy meal with friends. Not very suitable with small children at the table.
