Question about De'Longhi Magnifica Evo
Hello everyone - I have just bought the machine. The coffee (3 different types and varieties from different manufacturers "Turm", Lavazza, Kimbo" - about 1.5 - 2 kg tested) is too watery for me. There are 13 different grinding levels. However, my machine can only handle the highest (maximum second-highest) level. Anything finer just dribbles away or the machine reports an error. The coffee grounds are nice and coarse at the highest level. At the second-highest level, it is still coarse, but then it is just muddy or just powder. The grinder was only ever set when the coffee was ground. The crema is great - but I'm a bit surprised that I can't grind it finer. It doesn't have to be at level one, the machine can't do that because it's only "15 bar", but I would be happy if I could use or set at least a few levels. Does anyone have any tips, or do you think I should report this as there is a possibility that the machine is not working properly?

I'm not a K-machine specialist, but it sounds quite strange. I would contact the manufacturer's customer service.
I myself use the beans from "Cafe Royal" or "Mövenpick" and have no problem with the medium grinding level. The coffee is great and so is the grounds.

First of all, my expectations were not completely fulfilled either. I also grind with 1 chicco or kimbo and it comes out just dense enough. The other levels are not usable. The milk frother needs constant intensive cleaning because after a few cappuccinos it no longer froths nicely. Conclusion not quite worth the price. But as we don't drink coffee every day, it's good enough for us. I wouldn't buy it again, probably nothing is broken. It just doesn't fulfil expectations.

Hi, yes, I had that too, that only pulp came out. Then the grinder is practically at 0, which is obviously not possible. I don't know your coffee bean. But you can also just use a Tschibo bean (fino). Try it again.......
