Hello Galaxus team, I bought a new Philips 5500 LatteGo from you on 19/12/2025. The machine was already defective on 17/01/2026. According to internet research, it seems to be a known problem with the 5500 models, where the position or end position sensor is defective. Two weeks have now passed and I'm wondering how much longer I'll have to wait before I get my Philips 5500 LatteGo back. Are the machines sent abroad for repair? I'm surprised that I wasn't given a new machine straight away, as it should have been replaced after such a short time. I paid you CHF 615, and in view of the favourable manufacturing costs, a repair hardly seems worthwhile. Your status is not even set to "Service case in progress". Has the machine even been sent in for repair? If not, I would accept a credit note as I'm honestly no longer motivated to buy another Philips product. If repairs take this long, it indicates that a lot of machines are affected - and that's not a good sign. Kind regards
