Hello I would like to control the humidifier with a smart adapter. Is that possible? When the humidifier is switched on and the plug is pulled out and reset, does the unit run again or do I have to press the start button again. Thank you very much and I look forward to the answers. LG Piero

I have an old and a newer unit. Unfortunately, the new Oskar only has a button and no switch. This means that when the power is off and then comes back on (timer), the appliance stays off...

Yes, that works perfectly with this device, I also do it that way. Depending on the measured humidity in the room.
