Hello, if the R32 refrigerant in this unit needs topping up at some point – who is the best person to contact for this? Can a certified refrigeration engineer or installer carry this out on site, or does Midea/Galaxus offer a service for this?

If, after a few years, the refrigerant does indeed need topping up, a certified refrigeration engineer would be the right person to contact. However, in the case of a newer Porta Split unit, I would first contact Midea or the retailer, as a loss of refrigerant usually indicates a leak and is not part of routine maintenance.
