works without detergent. the detergent doesn't help anyway... the appliance is really great, i can only recommend it.

It is possible to use water alone, depending on the nature of the floor, how dirty it is, etc.

Can also be used with water only. The microfibre roller also cleans this way. Unbelievable what is cleaned off the floor, super appliance!
