Hello, Is there a manual for this product? I have received the product and when I turn the crank, it turns in a vacuum. Should I use pliers or a screwdriver to remove the spiral? Thank you for your help.

Loosen the brass screw and pull it out by hand, insert it into the pipe and then turn it
