I cannot recommend the hoover without soft roller for parquet floors. Coarse pieces do not fit under the turbo nozzle (roller) and with things like cat litter (coarse) you scratch the whole floor. The distance to the floor is only 1-2mm. It is better to look for a model with a soft roller
