I don't really see the difference between this machine KVC65.001WH and the almost 300.- more expensive version KVC85.004SI. Is it just the design or is there a significant technical difference or in the accessories? Even when making a direct comparison using the comparison lists, I can't see any significant differences.

We have this machine and I can't recommend it. It is deafeningly loud even in normal use.

Think it's just the accessories. I had a bowl, a dough hook, a whisk and a stirrer with me. And that's enough for me.

Well, it's only when you compare the KVC65 and KVC85 via the Kenwood site that the differences start to become clear. As I understand it, the price difference (according to the comparison at Kenwood directly) is primarily in the accessories. I can't really tell if the material differences are relevant, as the KVC85 uses English names and the KVC65 uses German names.
