In this case I would do the following:
1. clean the vacuum cleaner properly, dust container and also the ducts up to there and look somewhere what is stuck,
2. check that all components are properly assembled. 3,
3. if the motor sounds tortured, as if it has to work without end and if it even gets hot, there seems to be something wrong with the unit.
Either exchange the unit within the dealer's return period or wait and see what happens when you continue to use it, as there is still a 2-year warranty.
That's how I would proceed, but I'm not an expert on robotic vacuum cleaners either.

We are very satisfied, we even have two units for our two floors. We don't have any burning smell at all, or any other smell - that's not normal.
