I have the following questions: How big can the cup under the portafilter be? Height! The sieve for E.S.E pads that is included is supposed to be unusable. Which sieve should I get instead?

The distance for the cup is 7cm. Tests in the past have shown that the machine does not work with all pads. The Garibaldi pads with a diameter of 6cm and a weight of 7g work well. You can go by these specifications and may need to try a different type. A different sieve is not available from the manufacturer.
