I received my PortaSplit today. After 4-5 hours of operation, it displays error P1 (water tank full). Doesn't the PortaSplit normally have an automated water drainage system via the outdoor unit? If not, I've received a faulty unit. Unfortunately, I've already thrown away the packaging because it's too bulky, so if there is a fault, I don't really know how to send it back to Digitec/Galaxus.

This is a known error that Midea has fixed in subsequent generations of the Portasplit. Apparently you still have one of the older ones. This is a fault in the condensate pump. Report it to support, have it replaced and insist on a new generation appliance.

Hello, could it be that you are referring to the water tank of the main appliance? Water is also collected there, but not drained automatically. LG

Finally, I managed to purge the drainage system by injecting water into the drainage of the outdoor unit, which purged the "slime" from the system. I filled the indoor unit with clean water and the pump evacuated the water well. On the other hand, I find it unacceptable to have units that have probably been reconditioned (given the problem) as new. I'm not blaming Galaxus because this could also be the fault of the supplier. A commercial gesture would be welcome, a user should not have to troubleshoot his "new" product 😅. I hope I won't have any further problems. If necessary I can send a photo of the water extracted with the sticky masses.

After several tests, I can hear the pump running at start-up but no water is coming out. So I decided to drain the water from the indoor unit and... The water that comes out is accompanied by a sort of semi-translucent goo on top of the water. The only time I've had this was with my monobloc when I'd forgotten to drain it for a long time. Which means one of two things, either it's manufacturing waste (unlikely) or it's a reconditioned unit (which in this case can't be sold by Galaxus as a new unit). I'm guessing that the slimy waste must have clogged the pump or drain pipes, preventing the water from coming out.

So, the best solution would be for Galaxus to collect the unit directly from me, give me a partial refund (partially functional unit or reconditioned depending on how) or send an air-conditioning repairer to inspect and repair the water pump/drain pipe.
